COUNTRYSIDE (SCOTLAND) ACT 1967
THE FIFE COUNCIL (DUMBARNIE LINKS) DIVERSION OF PUBLIC RIGHT OF WAY ORDER 2021 NO. 1
The Fife Council hereby give notice that the above Order in terms of Section 35 of the Countryside (Scotland) Act 1967 is about to be made and submitted to the Scottish Ministers for confirmation, except that, in accordance with the provisions of paragraph 2(1A) of Schedule 3 to the above Act, if no representations or objections are duly made to the Fife Council or, if any so made are withdrawn, the order shall on being made take effect without it having to be submitted to the Scottish Ministers and without their confirmation.
The effect of the order is to divert a section of a public right of way through Dumbarnie Links from the solum of a former railway line to a hardcore surfaced track through the newly developed golf course..
Copies of the Order and the relevant plan together with the statement of reasons for the making of the order are available by applying by email to legal.support@fife.gov.uk or by post to Legal Services, Fife House, North Street, Glenrothes, Fife KY7 5LT during the period of 28 days from publication of this Notice.
Within that period any person may by written notice addressed to the Head of Legal and Democratic Services, Fife Council, Fife House, North Street, Glenrothes, KY7 5LT object to the making of the Order and should state the grounds on which it is made.
