GROVE LANE IMPROVEMENTS
THE LONDON BOROUGH OF SOUTHWARK (CYCLE LANES) (NO. *) TRAFFIC ORDER 20**
1. Southwark Council hereby GIVES NOTICE that it proposes to make the above order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended.
2. The effect of the orders would be, in: - GROVE LANE the north-east side, to introduce a south-eastbound mandatory contra-flow cycle lane between its junction with Camberwell Church Street and a point 27 metres south-east of that junction.
3. Southwark Council hereby GIVES FURTHER NOTICE under sections 90A to 90I of the Highways Act 1980 and in accordance with the provisions of the Highways (Traffic calming) Regulations 1999, propose to construct a speed table of flat-top construction having a maximum height of 100 millimetres and covering the entire width of the carriageway, at the following location:- GROVE LANE and JEPHSON STREET junction - (i) in GROVE LANE extending from its junction with Camberwell Church Street south-eastward for a distance of 40 metres; and (ii) in JEPHSON STREET extending from its junction with Grove Lane westward for a distance of 3 metres.
