A483 TRUNK ROAD (AMMANFORD ROAD AND PONTARDULAIS ROAD, TYCROES, CARMARTHENSHIRE) (PROHIBITION OF WAITING, LOADING AND UNLOADING) ORDER 2021
The Welsh Ministers have made an Order in exercise of their powers under sections 1(1), 2(1), 2(2) and 124 of, and paragraph 27 of Schedule 9 to, the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, which comes into force on the 21 January 2021.
The effect of the Order is to prohibit waiting, loading and unloading on the lengths of the A483 trunk road at Ammanford Road and Pontardulais Road in the County of Carmarthenshire, as specified in the Schedules to this Notice and introducing a zebra crossing controlled area in association with the waiting restrictions on Ammanford Road.
During a period of 6 weeks from 20 January 2021, a copy of this Notice, the made Order and plan can be viewed on the Welsh Government’s website at https://gov.wales/road-orders or may be obtained free of charge from the address below quoting reference number qA1404929.
If any person desires to question the validity of the Order, or of any provisions contained therein on the grounds:
a. that it is not within the relevant powers of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984; or
b. that any of the relevant requirements has not been complied with,
that person may, within 6 weeks of 19 January 2021, apply to the High Court for the suspension or quashing of the Order or of any provision contained therein.

SCHEDULE 1
Prohibition of waiting at any time
1. The length of the eastern side of the A483 trunk road known as Ammanford Road that extends from a point 100 metres south of the centre point of its junction with Hendre Road to a point 142 metres south of that said junction and given the reference A on the deposited plan.
2. The length of the eastern side of the A483 trunk road known as Ammanford Road that extends from a point 184 metres south of the centre point of its junction with Hendre Road to the centre-point of its junction with Tycroes Road and given the reference B on the deposited plan.
3. The length of the south-eastern side of the A483 trunk road known as Pontardulais Road that extends from the centre-point of its junction with Tycroes Road to the centre-point of its junction with Penygarn Road and given the reference C on the deposited plan.
4. The length of the southern side of the A483 trunk road known as Pontardulais Road that extends from the centre-point of its junction with Penygarn Road to a point 42 metres south-west of that said junction and given the reference D on the deposited plan.
5. The length of the western side of the A483 trunk road known as Ammanford Road that extends from a point 228 metres south of the centre point of its junction with Hendre Road to the centre-point of its junction with Tycroes Road and given the reference E on the deposited plan.
6. The length of the northern side of the A483 trunk road known as Pontardulais Road that extends from the centre-point of its junction with Tycroes Road to a point 68 metres south-west of that junction and given the reference F on the deposited plan.

The length of the western side of the A483 trunk road known as Ammanford Road that extends from a point 91 metres south of the centre point of its junction with Hendre Road to a point 142 metres south of that said junction and given the reference G on the deposited plan.
