1. The London Borough of Hounslow proposes to make the above-mentioned Orders under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, introduce a pedestrian crossing under section 23 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, and introduce road humps under section 90a of the Highways Act 1980.

2. The general effect of the above Orders would be to:

(a) introduce a zebra crossing (across the cycleway) outside No.2 South Street;

(b) introduce road humps in the locations detailed in the Schedule to this Notice;

(c) amend the waiting restrictions in South Street and Upper Square, Isleworth;

(d) prohibit motor vehicles from accessing the Upper Square service road between No.3 Upper Square and Nos.4/6 South Street;

(e) relocate the loading bay from the Upper Square service road to South Street; and

(f) revoke a pay & display parking bay in the Upper Square service road and amend the existing pay & display parking bays in South Street and Upper Square, Isleworth.

3. Documents giving further information of the proposed Orders can be viewed for a period of 21 days from the date of this Notice online at hounslow.gov.uk by typing in the term “traffic notices” in the search bar.

4. Any person wishing to object to the proposed Orders should send a statement in writing stating the grounds of the objection to the Interim Head of Traffic & Transport by email to trafficorders@hounslow.gov.uk quoting the reference TMO/P006/21 to be received by no later than Wednesday, 3 February 2021.
