PENSION SCHEME NOTICE
STELRAD GROUP PENSION PLAN (“THE SCHEME”)
Notice is hereby given pursuant to Section 27 of the Trustee Act 1925 (as amended) that it is expected that the Scheme will be wound up towards the end of this year and that any person (whether member, creditor or other) having a claim against or claiming to be beneficially interested in the Scheme (whether as a member, widow, widower, civil partner or other dependant of a member or otherwise) is required to submit details in writing of their claim or interest in the manner described below. If you think you are still entitled to benefits under the Scheme, but have not been contacted by the Scheme Trustee within the last two years please contact us using the address listed below.
If you have been contacted by the Trustee or have received correspondence from the Trustee in the last two years there is no need to respond to this notice.
Scheme members may have been employees of the following companies on or after 1 September 2014:
Stelrad Management Limited
Ideal Stelrad Limited
Stelrad Limited
If you are one of the persons noted above, please write to Pension Administration, Stelrad Radiator Group, 69-75 Side, Newcastle upon Tyne NE1 3JE. You should include details of your full name, your current address, National Insurance number, and details of your membership of the Scheme and/ or any benefits to which you think you may be entitled. Please also include copies of any evidence that you can provide to confirm your membership and/or entitlement. Alternatively, if you need clarification about the information required, please call 0191 261 3301.
Beneficiaries should make claims in writing to the address above by no later than 20 December 2020. To ensure that your claim is received it is strongly advised that any correspondence is sent by Registered Post.
The Trustee is in the process of winding up the Scheme. Therefore, the Trustee wishes to ensure that their records include all members and beneficiaries so that the correct benefits are provided. If the Trustee does not hear from you it will proceed with the wind up of the Scheme, having regard only to the claims and interests of which it has received notice. The Trustee shall not be liable in respect of any person who has not provided notice of any such claim or interest.
