Notices under the Trustee Act 1925
THE TOGETHER WORKING FOR WELLBEING PENSION SCHEME (FORMERLY KNOWN AS THE MENTAL AFTER CARE ASSOCIATION PENSION SCHEME AND THE FEDERATED PENSION SCHEME FOR THE MENTAL AFTER CARE ASSOCIATION) (“THE SCHEME”)
Pursuant to section 27 of the Trustee Act 1925, the Trustees of the Scheme hereby give notice of their intention to wind up the Scheme and distribute its assets, and require any person having an interest in the Scheme to send particulars of his interest or claim in respect of the Scheme to the Trustees within the next two months. After this time, the Trustees may distribute all or any of the assets of the Scheme, to or among the persons entitled thereto, having regard only to the interests or claims of which the Trustees then have had notice. The Trustees shall not, then, be liable to any person of whose claim the Trustees or personal representatives have not had notice at or before the time of distribution.
Notification is not required from persons who are currently in receipt of a pension from the Scheme, or who have already received correspondence relating to the wind-up of this Scheme from the Trustees.
