THE ARCHBOLD PENSION SCHEME

Notice is hereby given, pursuant to Section 27 of the Trustee Act 1925, that the Scheme is to be terminated. This follows the transfer in January 2020 of all assets of the Scheme from Equitable Life to Utmost Life & Pensions and notice from the Principal Employer of their decision to terminate the Scheme in accordance with Rule 9.3(a) of the Scheme Rules.

The Trustees have written to all members and beneficiaries currently receiving benefits or with a known entitlement to future benefits under the Scheme.

If you have not recently been contacted but believe you have a claim or entitlement to any benefit from, or interest in, the Scheme, by reason of your own or any other person’s employment with Archbold Holdings Limited or any of its subsidiary or associated companies, you are required to send particulars of your claim or entitlement in writing by 30 November 2020 (together with your full name, present address, date of birth and copies of all documents which support your claim) to: The Trustees of the Archbold Pension Scheme, c/o MHM Pension Services Ltd, Windsor House, Cornwall Road, Harrogate, HG1 2PW.

After the expiry of this notice on 30 November 2020, the Trustees will arrange for the distribution of any remaining assets of the Scheme prior to its termination. Benefits will be provided only to those persons whose valid claims and entitlements the Trustees have notice of, and they will not be liable to, or in respect of, any other person.

As stated above, any individuals who have already been contacted by the Trustees about this matter should not respond to this notice as the Trustees already have details of your claims and entitlements.
