The Department for Infrastructure (DfI) has made a Statutory Rule entitled "The Parking and Waiting Restrictions (Newtownards) (Amendment) Order (Northern Ireland) 2020", (S.R. 2020 No. 171), which comes into operation on 7th September 2020.

The Rule prohibts vehicles waiting at any time on a length of Portaferry Road, Newtownards. Vehicles are excepted from the prohibition in certain circumstances.

During the current Covid-19 restrictions, a copy of the Rule may be viewed at DfI offices during office hours (Monday to Friday 9.00 a.m. to 5.00 p.m.) by appointment only.
