THE A458 TRUNK ROAD (WELSHPOOL, POWYS) (40 MPH SPEED LIMIT) ORDER 202-

The Welsh Ministers propose to make an Order in exercise of their powers under sections 84(1)(a) and 84(2) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.

The effect of the proposed Order will be to impose a 40 mph speed limit on the length of the A458 trunk road at Welshpool, Powys that extends from a point 58 metres west of the eastern end of the splitter island adjacent to the A458/A490/B4381 Raven Roundabout to a point 388 metres south-west of that splitter island.

During a period of 21 days from 7 February 2020, a copy of the proposed Order, plan and Statement of Reasons for making the Order may be inspected during normal office hours at Welshpool Town Council, Triangle House, Union Street, Welshpool SY21 7PG or may be obtained free of charge from the address below quoting reference number qA1408055.

Objections, specifying the grounds on which they are made, must be sent in writing to Orders Branch, Transport, Welsh Government, Cathays Park, Cardiff CF10 3NQ or by e-mail to Transportordersbranch@gov.wales by 28 February 2020. Should you wish to object, support or make representations, we may need to consult with people and organisations outside of the Welsh Government. As part of the process of consulting with others we may pass information to them, including information you have given us and your personal data. We will, however, only disclose your personal details where it is necessary to do so to enable us to deal with issues you have brought to our attention. If you do not wish for certain personal data to be forwarded to third parties, you should state why when submitting your correspondence and the Welsh Ministers will copy the representations to the appropriate third parties with the name and address removed and if there is to be a public inquiry, the representations will be seen by the Inspector who may give them less weight as a result.
