LONDON BOROUGH OF TOWER HAMLETS - PUBLIC NOTICE FOR PROPOSED PARKING CHANGES - 'HAVE YOUR SAY'

THE COUNCIL PROPOSES TO MAKE CHANGES TO THE FOLLOWING ORDERS UNDER THE ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 (AS AMENDED)

THE TOWER HAMLETS (WAITING, LOADING AND STOPPING RESTRICTIONS) (MAP BASED) (NO. 1) ORDER 2018 - THE TOWER HAMLETS (PARKING PLACES) (MAP BASED) (NO. 1) ORDER 2018

1. The effect of these proposals is as follows:

PTO 1049 – VARIOUS PERSONALISED DISABLED BAYS AND CAR CLUB BAYS

a) Dongola Road: (outside no. 2/10 Bissagos Court) Convert an existing Friday off peak Bay space (1 parking space) to a Personalised Disabled Bay (number to be allocated)

b) Alie Street: (outside no. 38) Relocate Personalised Disabled Bay 638 from Leman Street on request of customer due to difficulties and causing inconvenience.

c) Hutching’s Street: (outside Express Wharf) Convert Personalised Disabled Bay 503 to a Resident Permit Holder space as no longer required.

d) Campbell Road: (outside no.133) Convert Personalised Disabled Bay 63 to a Resident Permit Holder space as no longer required.

e) Shipton Street: (outside no. 11 Sundial Centre) Convert Personalised Disable Bay no. 516 to Disable Bay with 3 hours limit.

f) Manilla Street: (outside Pub) Convert 2 vehicles Business bay to Car club bay by Relocating existing Car Club Bay N0.TH-0709 (2 parking space) from outside no. 1/36.

2. The Regulations, fees and usual exemptions imposed by the governing Traffic Management Orders would apply to the proposals referred to in paragraph 1 above.

3. A copy of each of the proposed Orders and all relevant documents can be inspected, by prior appointment, at the Parking & Mobility Services Offices, 585-593 Commercial Road, London E1 0HJ (020 7364 6949/6952), during normal office hours on Monday to Friday inclusive until the expiration of a period of 21 days from the date on which this notice is published.

4. Any objections or other representations about the proposed Orders should be sent by email to parking.tmo@towerhamlets.gov.uk or in writing to the above address within 21 days from the date on which this Notice is published. All objections must specify the grounds on which they are made.
