Notice is hereby given that the City Council intends, not less than twenty one days from the date of this Notice, to make the following Temporary Road Traffic Order(s):

(MCC00005249)The City of Manchester (Sackville Street, City Centre)(Temporary Taxi Clearway) Order under s14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. The effect of the Order is to prohibit stopping at any time on Sackville Street from a point 3 metres south west of its Junction with Richmond Street for a distance of 15 metres in a north westerly direction.

The City Council is satisfied that this prohibition is necessary in order to facilitate the construction of a shared footway and cycleway. It is expected that the works will be in progress from 14th January 2019 for a period of three years.

The order shall come into operation on the 14th January 2019 and may remain in force for a maximum period of three years. If all necessary works are completed within a shorter period, the Order shall cease to have effect at the end of that shorter period.
