Notice is hereby given that the City Council intends, not less than 21 days from the date of this Notice, to make the following Temporary Road Traffic Order(s):

(MCC0005085)The City of Manchester (NEW WAKEFIELD STREET (DEANSGATE) (Temporary Prohibition of Vehicular Traffic) Order 2019

The effect of the Order is to prohibit vehicular traffic on New Wakefield Street as specified in the schedule.

The alternative routes for traffic will be: N/A

The City Council is satisfied that this prohibition is necessary in order to facilitate demolition and building works.

The order shall come into operation on the 06 January 2019 and it is anticipated that the Order will remain in force with works being expected to continue until 31 January 2020 If all necessary works are completed within a shorter period, the Order shall cease to have effect at the end of that shorter period.
