NOTICE UNDER SECTION 27 OF THE TRUSTEE ACT 1925 (AS AMENDED)

BMW (UK) OPERATIONS SUPPLEMENTARY PENSION SCHEME – WINDING UP

The BMW (UK) Operations Supplementary Pension Scheme (previously known as the British Leyland Supplementary Pension Scheme and the Rover Group Supplementary Pension Scheme) (the "Scheme”) was established by a Trust Deed dated 23 June 1976. The Trustee of the Scheme is BMW (UK) Supplementary Trustees Limited.

The wind up of the Scheme shall commence in January 2019 with the intention that the Scheme is wound up by 31 March 2019.

Pursuant to section 27 of the Trustee Act 1925, notice is hereby given that any member, other beneficiary, creditor or anyone else having any claim against, or claiming to be beneficially interested in, the assets of the Scheme is required to send to the Trustee of the Scheme at the address given below on or before 19 February 2019 giving written particulars of the claim. After this date, the Trustee will proceed to distribute the assets of the Scheme among the persons entitled to them, having regard only to the claims and entitlements of which they then have notice. Further, after this date the Trustee shall not be liable to anyone of whose claim they have not had notice of.

The Trustee has sent a notice to all known members regarding the buy-out of the Scheme's liabilities with an insurer (and subsequent wind-up of the Scheme) and beneficiaries of the Scheme (for whom we hold contact details) and members of the Scheme and other beneficiaries with whom the Trustee or the Scheme administrators are already in contact need not respond to this notice since their interests have already been noted.
