THE GLA ROADS AND SIDE ROADS (A41 AND A501 BAKER STREET, PARK ROAD, GLOUCESTER PLACE, DORSET SQUARE AND MARYLEBONE ROAD, CITY OF WESTMINSTER) PRESCRIBED ROUTE ORDER 2018

THE A41 GLA SIDE ROAD (CLARENCE TERRACE, CITY OF WESTMINSTER) CYCLE LANE ORDER 2018

1. Transport for London hereby gives notice that on 3rd December 2018 it made the above named Orders, under section 6 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. The Order will come into force on 10th December 2018 or when traffic signs have been erected whichever is sooner.

2. The general nature and effect of the Orders will be to:

(1) replace the loading bay outside No.1 Taunton Place with double red lines (no stopping at any time);

(2) relocate the loading bay outside Nos. 203 and 205 Gloucester Place 1.5 metres southwards and extend its length by approximately 1 metre and change its times of operation to Monday to Saturday 7am to 7pm;

(3) replace the no stopping Monday to Saturday 7am to 7pm except 10am to 4 pm parking 30 mins no return 1 hour bay outside Nos. 187 to 203 Gloucester Place with a City of Westminster controlled bay;

(4) relocate the loading bay outside Nos.183 to 187 Gloucester Place to outside Nos. 183 and 187 Gloucester Place, reduce its length by 5 metres and change its operating times from Mon to Sat 10am to 4pm to Mon to Sat 7am to 7pm;

(5) extend the City of Westminster controlled bay on Gloucester Place outside Radley House by 3.5 metres;

(6) reduce the length of the City of Westminster controlled bay outside Nos. 172 to 184 Gloucester Place by 7 metres and move it 7 metres north-westwards;

(7) introduce a 15 metre section of single red line (no stopping Monday to Saturday 7am to 7pm) outside Nos. 205, 207 and Ivor Court, Gloucester Place;

(8) introduce double red lines (no stopping at any time) on both arms of Ivor Place at its junction Gloucester Place;

(9) remove the loading only bay outside Nos. 169 to 173 Gloucester place and the 10am to 4pm parking and disabled persons’ vehicles bay outside Nos 153 to 169 Gloucester Place with a City of Westminster controlled bay;

(10) shorten the loading and unloading only bays outside Nos. 158 to 168 Gloucester Place by 8 metres at its southern end replacing that length with a City of Westminster controlled bay;

(11) replace the loading only bay outside Nos. 146 to 150 Gloucester Place and No.8 Dorset Square to 134 Gloucester Place with a City of Westminster Controlled bay;

(12) relocate the loading and unloading bay outside Nos. 4 to 6 Dorset Square to outside Nos 2 to 4 Dorset Square and reduce its length by 1 metre, its original position will be replaced with a City of Westminster Controlled bay;

(13) introduce a Monday to Saturday 8am to 7pm loading only 20 mins bay outside No. 147 Gloucester Place;

(14) replace the loading only bay outside Nos. 1 and 2 Dorset Square and with double red lines (no stopping at any time);

(15) remove the City of Westminster controlled bay outside Nos. 2 to 4 Dorset Square;

(16) change the underlying no stopping control on Gloucester Place (between its junctions with Taunton Place and Ivor Place) from no stopping Monday to Saturday 8am to 7pm to no stopping Monday to Saturday 7am to 7pm;

(17) remove the northbound bus lane between Nos. 3 and 4 Dorset Square and No. 207 Gloucester Place;

(18) Introduce a 53 metre at any time northbound bus lane on Gloucester Place between Marylebone Road and Nos.137 to 145 Gloucester Place;

(19) reduce the length of the Loading bay outside Nos. 137 to 145 Gloucester Place and at the side of No.40 Melcombe Street from 10.5 metres to 9 metres;

(20) relocate the loading only bay outside No. 130 Gloucester Place (Dorset House) 5.5 metres southwards and change its times of operation from 8am to 7pm to 10am to 4pm;

(21) reduce the length of the 15.5 metre loading bay outside Westminster Council House, Marylebone Road to 12.5 metres;

(22) change the no stopping times of the loading bay outside Nos70 to 82 Park Road from 8am to 7pm Monday to Saturday to 7am to 7pm;

(23) replace the parking bay outside Nos. 46 to 52 Park Road with double red lines (no stopping at any time);

(24) replace the loading, unloading and disabled person’s vehicles bay outside Nos.44 to 46 Park Road with a City of Westminster controlled bay and double red lines (no stopping at any time);

(25) replace the loading and unloading only bays outside Nos. 12 to 26 and 36 Park Road and Nos. 4 to 10 Park Road with a City of Westminster controlled bay;

(26) replace the single red line (no stopping Monday to Saturday 8am to 7pm) at the southwestern kerb of Park Road between its junctions with Gloucester Place and Ivor Place with double red lines (no stopping at any time);

(27) relocate the disabled persons’ vehicles bay outside Nos. 4 to 10 Park Road 2.5 metres south-eastwards;

(28) replace the single red lines (no stopping Monday to Saturday 8am to 7pm) on Huntsworth Mews with double red lines (no stopping at any time);

(29) increase the length of the loading and unloading bay opposite Nos. 21 to 27 Park Road by 1 metre;

(30) relocate the City of Westminster controlled bay outside Nos. 21 to 29 Park Road 14.5 metres south-eastwards and increase its length by 2 metres;

(31) relocate the loading and unloading only bay outside Nos. 15 to 19 Park Road 17 metres south-eastwards and reduce its length to 10 metres;

(32) remove all existing bus lanes on A41 Park Road and Baker Street;

(33) relocate the loading and unloading only bay outside Nos. 221b to 245 Baker Street 23.5 metres south-eastwards and reduce its length to 35.5 metres;

(34) replace the single red line (no stopping Monday to Saturday 8am to 7pm) at the south-western kerb of Baker Street between its junctions with Park Road and Balcombe Street with double red lines (no stopping at any time);

(35) relocate the loading and unloading bay outside Nos 230 to 236 Baker Street 13.5 metres north-westwards and reduce its length to 15 metres;

(36) replace the loading only bay outside No.218 to 216 Baker Street with double red lines (no stopping at any time);

(37) relocate the 2 minute pick up or set down parking bay outside Chiltern Court, Nos. 188 to 204 Baker Street 39 metres north-westwards and reducing its length to 8 metres;

(38) replace the parking and disabled persons’ vehicles bay outside Nos. 189 to 213 Baker Street with double red lines (no stopping at any time);

(39) introduce an 11.5 metre no stopping at any time except 10am to 4pm and 10pm to 7am loading only 20 mins bay outside No. 185 to 187 and 189 to 213 Baker Street;

(40) replace the loading, unloading and disabled persons’ vehicles bay outside Nos. 126 to 136 Baker Street with double red lines (no stopping at any time);

(41) revoke the traffic Order which makes Park Road (between, Gloucester Place and Baker Street), Baker Street (between Marylebone Road and Park Road) and Gloucester Place and the eastern arm of Dorset Square (between Marylebone Road and Park Road) one way roads, making them two way roads;

(42) introduce a north-westbound contra flow cycle lane on Clarence Terrace between a point 10 metres north-east of the extended north-eastern kerb-line of the A41 Park Road and a point 9 metres south-east of the extended south-eastern building line of Lodge, Clarence Terrace;

(43) make administrative changes to the descriptions of the Transport for London stopping and bus lane controls on Gloucester Place, Dorset Square and any of their GLA side roads to reflect the proposed A road number change once two way operation is reintroduced..

5. Any person wishing to question the validity of the Order or of any of its provisions on the grounds that they are not within the relevant powers conferred by the Act or that any requirement of the Act has not been complied with, that person may, within six weeks from the date on which the Order is made, make application for the purpose to the High Court.
