1. Transport for London having consulted the London Borough of Hackney and Islington hereby gives notice that it intends to make the above named Orders under section 6 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.

2. The general nature and effect of the Order will be to prohibit some movements on Old Street and City Road:

(1) Southbound traffic on general traffic lane 2 A501 City Road is prohibited from proceeding in any other direction other that right at its southern junction with A5201 Old Street.

(2) Northbound traffic on general traffic lane 1 A501 City Road is prohibited from proceeding in any other direction other than left at its northern junction with A5201 Old Street.

(3) Northbound traffic on general traffic lane 2 A501 City Road is prohibited from proceeding in any other direction other than ‘ahead only’ into Old Street at its northern junction with A5201 Old Street.

(4) South eastbound traffic on general traffic lanes 1 and 2 A501 City Road is prohibited from proceeding in any direction other than left only at its junction with A5201 Old Street.

(5) South eastbound traffic on general traffic lanes 3 and 4 A501 City Road is prohibited from proceeding in any direction other than right at its junction with A5201 Old Street.

(6) South westbound traffic on general traffic lanes 2 and 3 A5201 Old Street is prohibited from proceeding in any direction other than north westwards at its junction with A501 City Road.

(7) South Westbound traffic on general traffic lane 1 A5201 Old Street is prohibited from proceeding in any direction other than southwards at its junction with A501 City Road.

5. All objections and other representations to the proposed Orders must be made in writing and must specify the grounds on which they are made. Objections and representations must be sent to Transport for London, Streets Traffic Order Team, Palestra, 197 Blackfriars Road, London, SE1 8NJ quoting reference RSM/PI/STOT/TRO, GLA/2018/0536, to arrive before 7 December 2018. Objections and other representations may be communicated to other persons who may be affected.
