NOTICE OF APPLICATION FOR A STOPPING UP ORDER
HIGHWAYS ACT 1980
PROPOSAL TO STOP UP PART OF THE PUBLIC HIGHWAY AT WOODGATE ROAD, MOULTON CHAPEL, SPALDING, LINCOLNSHIRE
NOTICE is hereby given that in accordance with section 116 of the Highways Act 1980 an application will be made to the Justices of the Peace of the Local Justice Area of Lincolnshire on Monday 3 December 2018 at 2.00pm at the Boston Magistrates’ Court, The Court House, 55 Norfolk Street, Boston Lincolnshire PE21 6PE for stopping up part of the public highway comprising approximately 550 square metres of land adjoining the former Plough Inn Public House, Woodgate Road, Moulton Chapel. The area of land to be stopped up is shown on the Stopping Up Plan and edged red thereon.
The Plan can be inspected at all reasonable times at the offices of Lincolnshire County Council, County Offices, Newland, Lincoln LN1 1YS (Main Reception) and South Holland District Council, Council Offices, Priory Road, Spalding PE11 2XE.
The Order sought is for stopping up the said area of land for the purposes of all traffic on the grounds that it is unnecessary.
