THE ISLINGTON (PRESCRIBED ROUTES) (NO. 5) ORDER 2018

THE ISLINGTON (WAITING AND LOADING RESTRICTION) (AMENDMENT NO. 8) ORDER 2018

THE ISLINGTON (PARKING PLACES) (ZONE S) (NO.32) ORDER 2018

1) NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the London Borough of Islington on 17 October 2018 made the above mentioned Orders under Sections 6, 45, 46, 49 and 124 of and Part IV of Schedule 9 to the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended, and of all other powers thereunto enabling.

2) The general effect of the Experimental Parking Places Order will be to in Freeling Street, revoke all the existing parking places in Freeling Street.

3) The general effect of the Experimental Prescribed Routes Order will be to:

a) prohibit vehicles proceeding in Carnoustie Drive in both directions, except for bicycles and emergency access at a point at its junction with Freeling Street; and

b) prohibit vehicles proceeding in or entering Freeling Street, except for bicycles, emergency access, statutory undertakers access and access to premises with off-street parking, between its junction with Caledonian Road and its junction with Carnoustie Drive.

4) The general effect of the Experimental Waiting and Loading Order will be to introduce in:

a) Freeling Street, at any time waiting and loading restrictions

b) Carnoustie Drive, introduce at any time waiting and loading restrictions at the road closure point set out in paragraph (3)(a) above.

5) The Orders, which will come into force on 28 October 2018, and other documents giving more detailed particulars of the Orders are available for inspection during normal office hours at the following location:

6) Any person who desires to question the validity of the Order or of any provision contained therein on the grounds that it is not within the relevant powers of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 or that any of the relevant requirements thereof or of any relevant regulations made there under has not been complied with in relation to the Order may make application for the purpose to the High Court by 23 November 2018
