1. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Common Council of the City of London on 7 August 2018 made the above Order under sections 45 and 124 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.

2. The effect of the Order will be to:-

(a) increase the charges for leaving a vehicle in an on-street payment parking place in the City of London;

(b) vary the parking charge rate according to the fuel type of the vehicle and the date the vehicle was first registered;

(c) vary the parking charge rate according to the payment method; and

(d) consolidate into one Order, The City of London (Parking Places) (No. 2) Order 2013 and the Orders listed in Schedule 2 to this Notice that have amended that Order.

3. The vehicle fuel type and date of registration are as stated on the UK Registration Certificate (V5C) for that vehicle. The parking charges are set out in Schedule 1 to this Notice.

4. A copy of the Order, which will come into operation on 20 August 2018, and other documents giving more detailed particulars of the Order can be inspected during normal office hours on Monday to Friday inclusive for a period of six weeks from the date on which the Order was made at the Planning Enquiry Desk, North Wing, Guildhall, London, EC2P 2EJ.

5. Any person desiring to question the validity of the Order or of any provision contained therein on the grounds that it is not within the powers of the relevant section of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, or that any of the relevant requirements thereof or of any relevant regulations made thereunder has not been complied with may, within six weeks from the date on which the Order was made, make application for the purpose to the High Court.
