GRANVILLE PARK - PARKING PLACE AND WAITING RESTRICTION CHANGES AND PROVISION OF LOADING BAY

THE LEWISHAM (FREE PARKING PLACES, LOADING PLACES AND WAITING, LOADING AND STOPPING RESTRICTIONS) (AMENDMENT NO. *) ORDER 201*
1. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Lewisham Borough Council propose to make the above-mentioned Orders under the powers of sections 6, 45, 46, 49 and 124 of and Part IV of Schedule 9 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended.
2. The general effect of the Orders would be on the south-west side of GRANVILLE PARK, opposite the Granville Park Adult Education Centre, to:
(a) replace 12 metres of double yellow line ‘at any time’ waiting restrictions with a loading bay that would be available to any vehicle provided it is being used continuously for loading or unloading;
(b) relocate the existing shared-use (Zone 'B' permit holders / Pay and Display max stay 4 hours) parking place south-eastward by 1.5 metres, replacing 1.5 metres of single yellow line 'controlled hours' waiting restrictions at its south-eastern end and being replaced by 1.5 metres of double yellow line ‘at any time’ waiting restrictions at its north-western end; and
(c) provide that the vehicles that may be left in the parking place referred to in sub-paragraph 2(b), above and the hours during which vehicles may be left in that parking place and the charges for leaving a vehicle in that parking place would remain unchanged.
3. Documents giving more detailed particulars of the Orders can be inspected during normal office hours on Mondays to Fridays at the office of Lewisham Transport Policy & Development, 4th Floor Laurence House, 1 Catford Road, London SE6 4RU.
4. Any objection or other representations relating to the proposed Orders must be made in writing and all objections must specify the grounds on which they are made and must be emailed to: parkingdesign@lewisham.gov.uk or posted to Lewisham Transport Policy & Development, 4th Floor Laurence House, 1 Catford Road, London SE6 4RU, quoting reference 'Granville Park - TMO’ to arrive not later than 21 days from the date of publication of this notice. Any objection may be communicated to other persons who may be affected.
