LONDON BOROUGH OF BRENT
THE BRENT (BUS PRIORITY) (CONSOLIDATION) (AMENDMENT NO. *) TRAFFIC ORDER 201*
1. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the London Borough of Brent propose to make the above-mentioned Order under sections 6 and 124 of and Part IV of Schedule 9 to the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended.
2. The general effect of the ‘bus priority’ Order would be to increase in length the existing bus lane in High Road, Wembley, the south side, from 6.50 metres north-west of Ecclestone Place to the party wall of Nos. 354 and 356 to 368 High Road, Wembley.
3. The Council has also approved proposals to provide a pedestrian crossing under section 23 of the Road Traffic Act 1984 in High Road, Wembley, at a point 21.00 metres north-west of the north-western kerb-line of Ecclestone Place.
The ‘controlled area’ in which waiting and loading is prohibited at all times, would apply on both the approach and exit sides of the crossing.
4. A copy of the proposed Order, of the relevant Order of 2017 (and of any Orders which have amended that Order), of the Council's statement of reasons for proposing to make the Order and of a map which indicates the length of road to which the Order relate can be inspected during normal office hours on Mondays to Fridays inclusive until the end of a period of 6 weeks from the date on which the Order are made or the Council decides not to make the Order at Brent Customer Services, Brent Civic Centre, Engineers Way, Wembley, Middlesex, HA9 0FJ.

6. Persons desiring to make representations or to object to the proposed Order or to any of the proposals should send a statement in writing of their objection and the grounds thereof via email to trafficorders@brent.gov.uk, to the Head of Highways and Infrastructure, Highways and Infrastructure Service, 5th Floor North Wing, Brent Civic Centre, Engineers Way, Wembley, Middlesex, HA9 0FJ, quoting the reference TO/25/068/NP to arrive no later than 21 days from the date of publication of this Notice.
