Letters Patent bearing date 15 June 2018 have passed the Great Seal of Northern Ireland appointing Gerald Joseph McAlinden to be a Judge of the High Court of Justice in Northern Ireland.

The said Letters Patent were enrolled in the Central Office of the Court of Judicature of Northern Ireland on 15th June 2018.

The Honourable Mr Justice McAlinden took the Oath of Office on the 15th day of June 2018 in the presence of the Lord Chief Justice of Northern Ireland.

The Oath was administered by Mr A E Wells, Clerk of the Crown for Northern Ireland.
