NOTICE UNDER SECTION 27 OF THE TRUSTEE ACT 1925

Notice is hereby given pursuant to Section 27 of the Trustee Act 1925 and is addressed to former and current employees of the following companies:

Sea Containers 1983 Pension Scheme (the “Scheme”) has commenced the process of winding-up.

If you were or are an employee of one of the above companies, and a member of the Scheme and think you are entitled to benefits under the Scheme but have not been contacted in respect of those benefits, or you are a spouse, civil partner, child or dependant of a deceased member, please contact in writing the Trustees of the Scheme c/o Sharon Hudson, Mercer Limited, PO Box 2066, Sunley House, Croydon CR90 9NB by no later than 8 August 2018. You should include details of your current address and any benefits you think you are entitled to.

It is the Trustees’ intention to transfer the assets of the Scheme into individual insurance policies written in the name of individual members as soon as possible. If the Trustees are not aware of any entitlement you may have under the Scheme by 8 August 2018 they will not be liable to pay benefits to you.

If you already receive a pension from the Scheme, or you have received announcements from the Trustees regarding the winding-up and transfer of the Scheme’s liabilities, you do not need to write to the Trustees as they already have full details about your entitlements.
