THE BEXLEY (DISABLED PERSONS PARKING PLACES)(AMENDMENT NO. 1) TRAFFIC ORDER 2018
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the London Borough of Bexley have on 19th March 2018 made the above mentioned Order under sections 6, and 124 of and Part IV of Schedule 9 to the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended by Section 8 of and Part 1 of Schedule 5 to the Local Government Act 1985.
1. The general effect of the Bexley (Disabled Persons Parking Places)(Amendment No. 1) Traffic Order 2018 would be to amend The Bexley (Disabled Persons Parking Places) Traffic Order 2018 to:
a. designate new disabled parking places in which disabled person’s vehicles, displaying a disabled person’s blue badge may be left during the permitted hours, without charge, in the vicinity of :- 197 Brook Street Erith. 31 Clarence Crescent, Sidcup. 31 Dale Road, Crayford. 6 Davenport Road, Sidcup. 78 Hall Place Crescent, Bexley. 15 Ronaldstone Road, Sidcup. 27 Sussex Road, Sidcup. 2 Thwaite Close, Erith. 35 Walden Close, Belvedere. 9 Winifred Road, Erith. 37 Woodside Crescent, Sidcup.
b. amend existing disabled parking places in the vicinity of :- 14 Brook Street, Erith. Jeffrey Court, Brook Street, Erith. 33 Clarence Road, Sidcup. 18 Cotswold Close, Barnehurst. 22 Haven Close, Sidcup. 55 Hengist Road, Erith. 68 Lea Vale, Bexleyheath. 7 Lincoln Road, Slade Green. 12 Milton Road, Belvedere. 14 Saxon Walk (Wingate Road), Sidcup.
c. revoke the existing disabled parking places in the vicinity of:- 61 Crayford Way, Crayford. 74 Dale Road, Crayford. 6 Ellenborough Road, Sidcup. 47 Elm Road, Slade Green. 72 Erith Road, Erith. 15 Franklin Road, Bexleyheath. 2 Granville Road, Welling. 12 Grove Road, Belvedere. 153 Harcourt Avenue, Sidcup. 53 Hengist Road, Erith. 90 Hurstwood Avenue, Barnehurst. 15 Izane Road, Bexleyheath. 193 Maiden Lane, Crayford. 21 Mitchell Close, Belvedere. 8 Oxford Road, Sidcup. 97 Ramillies Road, Sidcup. 45 Ripley Road, Erith. 111 Riverdale Road, Erith. 24 Shirley Road, Sidcup. 11 Wolsley Close, Crayford. 36 Wordsworth Road, Welling.
2. A copy of the Order which becomes operational on 26th March 2018, the corresponding Parent Order (and the Orders that have amended that Order); the Council’s statement of reasons for making the Order and a map which indicates the length of roads to which the Order relates can be inspected during normal office hours on Mondays to Fridays inclusive, at the Contact Centre, Civic Offices, 2 Watling Street, Bexleyheath, Kent DA6 7AT.

4. Persons desiring to question the validity of the Order or of any provision contained therein on the grounds that it is not within the powers of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, or that any of the relevant requirements thereof or of any regulations made thereunder has not been complied with in relation to the Order may, within six weeks of the day on which the Order were made, make application for the purpose to the High Court
