THE A1 TRUNK ROAD (GRANTHAM SOUTHERN GROWTH CORRIDOR) (SIDE ROADS) ORDER 2018

Highways England Company Limited ("Highways England") hereby give notice that it has made, and submitted to the Secretary of State for Transport for confirmation, an Order under Sections 14 of the Highways Act 1980 authorising Highways England l to:-

(a) improve highways (including raising, lowering or otherwise altering),

(b) stop up highways,

(c) construct new highways,

all on or in the vicinity of the route of the A1 Trunk Road and the classified road known as A52 Grantham Southern Growth Corridor – Grantham Southern Relief Road which Highways England are proposing to construct/improve at Spittlegate junction, Grantham

A copy of the order and of the accompanying plans may be inspected at www.Lincolnshire.gov.uk and free of charge at all reasonable hours from 2nd March 2018 at the offices of the acquiring authority at County Offices, Newland, Lincoln Lincolnshire LN1 1YS, and at the offices of South Kesteven District Council, St Peters Hill, Grantham, Lincolnshire, NG31 6PZ

Any person may not later than 16th April 2018 object to the confirmation of the order by notice to the Secretary of State for Transport, National Transport Casework Team, Tyneside House, Skinnerburn Road, Newcastle Business Park, Newcastle upon Tyne, NE4 7AR stating the grounds of their objection.

In submitting an objection it should be noted that your personal data and correspondence will be passed to Highways England and Lincolnshire County Council ("the Council") to enable your objection to be considered. If you do not wish your personal data to be forwarded, please state your reasons when submitting your objection and the Secretary of State will copy your representations, with your name and address removed to Highways England or the Council, and if there is to be a Public Local Inquiry they will be seen by the Inspector who may give them less weight as a result.
