THE LONDON BOROUGH OF SOUTHWARK (WAITING AND LOADING RESTRICTIONS) (AMENDMENT NO. 44) ORDER 2018

1. Southwark Council hereby GIVES NOTICE that it proposes to make the above orders under sections 6, 45, 46, 49 and 124 of and Part IV of Schedule 9 to the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended.

2. The effect of the orders would be, in:- (a) BARRY ROAD - to formalise an existing ‘at any time’ loading bay on the north-west side adjacent to No. 40 Barry Road; (b) BOAT LIFTER WAY - to introduce ‘at any time’ waiting restrictions (i) on both sides at its junction with Sweden Gate, (ii) on all sides of its eastern and western extremities, and (iii) throughout the remainder of the north-west side; (c) FALMOUTH ROAD and ROCKINGHAM STREET, throughout the lengths of each street – (i) to replace all the existing ‘permit-holders only’ parking places with ‘shared-use’ parking places (maximum parking period of 4 hours), and (ii) to amend the existing ‘at any time’ and single yellow line waiting restrictions.
