DARTMOUTH PARK HILL ZEBRA CROSSING

ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 – SECTION 23

1. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the London Borough of Islington intends to amend a Zebra Crossing on Dartmouth Park Hill under Section 23, Section 6 of and Part IV of schedule 9 to the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended by the Local Government Act 1985, and of all other powers thereunto enabling.

2. The Zebra Crossing will be located in Dartmouth Park Hill, at its junction with Chester Road.

3. The Zebra Crossing on Dartmouth Park Hill will be amended with the centre line of the Zebra Crossing being located at a point 5.5 metres north of the southern wall of No. 1 Chester Road. The zig-zags on the south side of the crossing shall extend 16.5 metres south, and 22 metres south of that centre line. The zig-zags on the north side of the crossing shall extend by 26.5 metres north of that centre line.

4. The Zebra Crossing, which will come into effect on 12 February 2018 and other documents giving more detailed particulars of the Zebra Crossing are available for inspection during normal office hours at the following location:

5. Any person who wishes to question the validity of this Notice, or of any provision contained therein on the grounds that it is not within the relevant powers of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 or that any of the relevant requirements thereof or of any other relevant regulations made thereunder has not been complied with in relation to this Notice, may make application for the purpose to the high court by 2 March 2018.
