The Secretary of State gives notice of an Order made under Section 247 of the above Act entitled "The Stopping up of Highway (North East) (No.50) Order 2017" authorising the stopping up of a length of unnamed highway to the west of Vulcan Place, a length of unnamed highway to the east of the Magistrates Court, and a length of unnamed highway adjoining Schalksmuhle Road at Bedlington, in the County of Northumberland to enable development as permitted by Northumberland County Council, reference 17/00444/OUT.

Copies of the Order may be obtained, free of charge, from the Secretary of State, National Transport Casework Team, Tyneside House, Skinnerburn Road, Newcastle Business Park, Newcastle upon Tyne NE4 7AR or nationalcasework@dft.gsi.gov.uk (quoting NATTRAN/ NE/S247/2893) and may be inspected during normal opening hours at Northumberland County Council, County Hall, Morpeth, NE61 2EF.

Any person aggrieved by or desiring to question the validity of or any provision within the Order, on the grounds that it is not within the powers of the above Act or that any requirement or regulation made has not been complied with, may, within 6 weeks of 11 January 2018 apply to the High Court for the suspension or quashing of the Order or of any provision included.
