THE ISLINGTON (WAITING AND LOADING RESTRICTION) (AMENDMENT NO. 11) ORDER 2017
THE ISLINGTON (PARKING PLACES) (TIMES AND TARIFFS) (NO. 4) ORDER 2017
1) NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the London Borough of Islington on 7 November 2017 made the above mentioned Orders under Sections 6, 45, 46, 49 and 124 of and Part IV of Schedule 9 to the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended, and of all other powers thereunto enabling.
2) The general effect of the Parking Places Order will be to in:
a) Lever Street, amend the parking bay on the north-west side, at the junction with Ironmonger Row;
b) Lever Street, amend the parking bay on the south-east side, opposite the south-western wall of No. 94 Ironmonger Row;
c) Chiswell Street, remove all parking bays located between Bunhill Row and Finsbury Street;
d) Bath Street, reduce by one bay, the shared-use parking bay on the south-west side, near the junction of Lever Street;
e) Finsbury Square, reduce the parking bay on the north-east side, the southern arm, to provide five new parking spaces; and
f) Finsbury Square, revoke the parking bays opposite No. 33 Finsbury Square.
3) The general effect of the Solo Motorcycle Parking Places Order will be to in:
a) Bunhill Row, amend the Solo Motorcycle bay on the east side, opposite the party wall of No. 15 Bunhill Row and Nos. 2 to 14 Gavrelle House, Bunhill Row;
b) Finsbury Square, amend the Solo Motorcycle bay, on the north-east side, (north-west to south-east arm), opposite the north-western wall of Nos. 39 to 45 Finsbury Square;
c) Finsbury Square, introduce a new Solo Motorcycle Bay on the north-west side, opposite the north-eastern wall of Nos. 33 to 37 Finsbury Square; and
d) Finsbury Square, revoke the Solo Motorcycle bay on, the northern side, opposite the entrance of No. 38 Finsbury Square.
4) The general effect of the Waiting and Loading Order will be to revise the current lengths of waiting and loading, in:
a) Lever Street, on the north-west side and south side, at various locations;
b) Bath Street, on the north-east side, at various locations;
c) Bunhill Row, on the north-east and south-west side, at various locations;
d) Chiswell Street, on the north-east side, at various locations; and
e) Finsbury Square, on the north-east side and south-west side, at various locations.
5) The general effect of the Waiting and Loading Order will be to, introduce new loading restrictions operating Mondays to Fridays, between 6am to 8pm and on Saturdays between 8.30am to 1.30pm, in:
a) Chiswell Street, the north-east side, between the eastern kerb-line of Bunhill Row and the western kerb-line of Finsbury Square; and
b) Finsbury Square, the south-west side, (the western arm), between the south-eastern kerb-line of Moor Lane and the north-western kerb-line of Finsbury Square, (the western arm).
6) The general effect of the Waiting and Loading Order will be to, introduce new loading restrictions operating at any time in:
a) Lever Street, between Bath Street and Ironmonger Row;
b) Chiswell Street, outside Nos.21-24 Chiswell Street; and
c) Finsbury Square between Wilson Street and the eastern arm of Finsbury Square.
7) Make various amendments to Traffic Management Orders in order to bring them in line with the current on-street layout.
8) The Orders, which will come into force on 13 December 2017, and other documents giving more detailed particulars of the Orders are available for inspection during normal office hours at the following location:

9) Any person who wishes to question the validity of any of the Orders, or of any provision contained therein on the grounds that it is not within the relevant powers of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 or that any of the relevant requirements thereof or of any other relevant regulations made thereunder, has not been complied with in relation to the Order, may make application for the purpose to the high court by 22 December 2017.
