The Secretary of State gives notice of an Order made under Section 247 of the above Act entitled "The Stopping up of Highways (Yorkshire and the Humber) (No.39) Order 2017" authorising the stopping up of two part-widths of Southway, part of its turning circle, at Horsforth in the City of Leeds. This is to enable development as permitted by The Secretary of State for Communities and Local Government under reference APP/N4720/W/16/3150419.

Copies of the Order may be obtained, free of charge, from the Secretary of State, National Transport Casework Team, Tyneside House, Skinnerburn Road, Newcastle Business Park, Newcastle upon Tyne NE4 7AR or nationalcasework@dft.gsi.gov.uk (quoting NATTRAN/Y&H/S247/2911) and may be inspected during normal opening hours at Horsforth Community Hub, Town Street, Horsforth, Leeds LS18 5BL.

Any person aggrieved by or desiring to question the validity of or any provision within the Order, on the grounds that it is not within the powers of the above Act or that any requirement or regulation made has not been complied with, may, within 6 weeks of 24 August 2017 apply to the High Court for the suspension or quashing of the Order or of any provision included.
