TOWN AND COUNTRY PLANNING ACT 1990

The Secretary of State gives notice of an Order made under Section 247 of the above Act entitled "The Stopping up of Highways (Yorkshire and the Humber) (No.24) Order 2017" authorising the stopping up of the whole of the former alleyway which connects the footway at Trafford Street to the footway adjacent to 24-28 High Street; a length of highway adjoining the southern edge of this former alleyway; and an area of highway lying to the west of Trafford Street, all at the site of the former K.M Cross car sales at Scunthorpe, in the Borough of North Lincolnshire. This is to enable development as permitted by North Lincolnshire Council, reference PA/2016/1688.

Copies of the Order may be obtained, free of charge, from the Secretary of State, National Transport Casework Team, Tyneside House, Skinnerburn Road, Newcastle Business Park, Newcastle upon Tyne NE4 7AR or nationalcasework@dft.gsi.gov.uk (quoting NATTRAN/Y&H/S247/2678) and may be inspected during normal opening hours at North Lincolnshire Council, Church Square House, High Street, Scunthorpe DN15 6NL.

Any person aggrieved by or desiring to question the validity of or any provision within the Order, on the grounds that it is not within the powers of the above Act or that any requirement or regulation made has not been complied with, may, within 6 weeks of 22 June 2017 apply to the High Court for the suspension or quashing of the Order or of any provision included.
