THE LONDON BOROUGH OF BARKING AND DAGENHAM (PARKING, STOPPING AND WAITING RESTRICTIONS) (GASCOIGNE PRIMARY SCHOOL, BARKING) AMENDMENT NO. * ORDER 20**

Notice is hereby given that the Council of the London Borough of Barking and Dagenham in exercise of its powers under sections 6, 124 and Parts I to IV of Schedule 9 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended (hereinafter called “the Act”) and all other enabling legislation and powers and after consultation with the Commissioner of Police of the Metropolis in accordance with Part IV of Schedule 9 of the Act propose to make the above Order, the effect of which will be;

1. Introduce “No Stopping Mon-Fri 8am-4.30pm on entrance markings” revoking in part the Shared Use Parking Place, on St Ann’s, south-west side, from a point 20 metres south-east of the common boundary of Nos. 112-115 and 122-123 in a north-westerly direction for 32 metres.

2. Revoke “No Stopping Mon-Fri 8am-4.30pm on entrance markings” on Gascoigne Road opposite No. 80a.

FURTHER NOTICE IS ALSO HEREBY GIVEN that the Council under the powers of section 23 of the Act, intend to:

1. Introduce a “zebra” pedestrian crossing and associated zig-zag markings on Gascoigne Road opposite No. 80a and at its junction with The Shaftesburys.

Copies of the draft Order together with a plan giving more detailed particulars of the Order and pedestrian crossing location and a statement of the Council’s reasons for proposing this Order are available for inspection at the Planning Application desk, Town Hall, Barking and at the offices of the Chief Executive, Civic Centre, Dagenham between the hours of 9.00am and 4.00pm Monday to Friday.

Any objections and other representations to the proposed Order must be made in writing stating the grounds on which they are made and sent for the attention of Jacquie Harris to the address below, within 21 days from the date of publication of this Notice or by visiting the council website and following the link below:
