PROPOSED STOPPING UP OF PART OF UNCLASSIFIED ROAD NUMBER. 40865 WHICH FORMS PART OF THE FRONTAGE OF JUNIPER HOUSE, ELKSTONE, CHELTENHAM, GL53 9PD IN THE PARISH OF ELKSTONE
NOTICE is hereby given that an application will be made to the Magistrates sitting at Cheltenham Magistrates’ Court on the 10th July 2017 at 10:00am for an Order to stop up all public highway rights over the area of land described in the Schedule hereto.
Any representations or objections about this application can either be put in writing addressed to the Listing Clerk, HMCTS Gloucestershire, PO Box 9051, Gloucester, GL1 2XG or the Head of Legal Services, Gloucestershire County Council, Shire Hall, Westgate Street, Gloucester GL1 2TG (please quote reference 63462) or any person may attend the above hearing at Cheltenham Magistrates’ Court, St Georges Road, Cheltenham, Gloucestershire, GL50 3PF on the 10th July 2017 at 10:00am.
A plan illustrating the road which is the subject of the application may be inspected free of charge at all reasonable hours at the offices of Gloucestershire County Council at Shire Hall, Gloucester, GL1 2TG (please quote reference 63462) and at the offices of Cotswold District Council at Trinity Road, Cirencester, Gloucestershire, GL7 1PX.
SCHEDULE
DESCRIPTION OF HIGHWAY TO BE STOPPED UP
The area of highway to be stopped up fronts the property of Juniper House, Elkstone, Cheltenham, GL53 9PD and is part of unclassified highway 40865 in the parish of Elkstone. The land is generally rectangular in shape and forms a total area of approximately 35.5 square metres. It measures approximately 8.5m on its western edge, 8.6m on its eastern edge, 4.0m on its southern edge and 5.0m on its northern edge, and is shown crosshatched on the drawing number TA238b.
