Notice is hereby given pursuant to section 27 of the Trustee Act 1925 that Open Trustees Limited acting as the trustee of Hewden Stuart Pension Scheme and Hewden Pension Plan (the "Schemes") is intending to distribute the assets of the Schemes in accordance with the Schemes' governing documentation and the rules of the Pension Protection Fund ("PPF"). It is intended that this will be achieved by the transfer of members' defined benefits (or final salary benefits) into the PPF if the PPF assumes responsibility for the Schemes or otherwise securing members' benefits by way of the purchase of immediate and/or deferred annuities with an insurance company.

The following are requested to write to Open Trustees Limited c/o Mercer Limited, 1 Whitehall Quay, Whitehall Road, Leeds, LS1 4HR, on or before 31 July 2017:

• Any employee or former employee of Hewden Stuart Limited (company registration no SC045681) (previously known as Hewden Stuart plc) or any other companies associated with Hewden Stuart Limited who believes that he/she was a member of the Schemes and who is not already receiving a pension in respect of his/her membership of the Schemes;

• Any person who believes themselves to be a beneficiary of the Schemes as the widow, widower or dependant of a deceased member of the Schemes; and

• Any other person who believes they have a claim against, or an interest in, the Schemes.

Claimants should provide their full name, address, date of birth, National Insurance number and details of when they were members of the Schemes.

Claimants need not write if they have received correspondence from the trustee within the last 12 months.

After 31 July 2017, Open Trustees Limited will proceed to deal with the assets of the Schemes among the persons entitled to them, having regard only to the claims and interests of which they have prior notice and in relation to the assets used for such distribution will not be liable to any person or persons for a claim of which they do not have notice.
