The Secretary of State gives notice of an Order made under Section 247 of the above Act entitled "The Stopping up of Highway (North East) (No.14) Order 2017" authorising the stopping up of a length of Archbold Terrace which lies adjacent to the southern boundary of Jesmond Three Sixty (formerly known as Scottish Life House) at Jesmond, in the City of Newcastle upon Tyne to enable development as permitted by Newcastle City Council, under reference 2015/1679/01/DET.
Copies of the Order may be obtained, free of charge, from the Secretary of State, National Transport Casework Team, Tyneside House, Skinnerburn Road, Newcastle Business Park, Newcastle upon Tyne NE4 7AR or nationalcasework@dft.gsi.gov.uk (quoting NATTRAN/NE/S247/2319) and may be inspected during normal opening hours at City Community and Information Hub and Library, Charles Avison Building, 33 New Bridge Street West, Newcastle upon Tyne, NE1 8AX.
Any person aggrieved by or desiring to question the validity of or any provision within the Order, on the grounds that it is not within the powers of the above Act or that any requirement or regulation made has not been complied with, may, within 6 weeks of 16 May 2017 apply to the High Court for the suspension or quashing of the Order or of any provision included.
