THE HILLINGDON (FREE PARKING PLACES) (DISABLED PERSONS) TRAFFIC ORDER 2015 (AMENDMENT) ORDER 2017

Hillingdon Council gives notice that it intends to make these Orders, which will:

1. Install 'at any time' waiting restrictions along the sections of road as set out in the Schedule to this notice below.

2. Make the following amendments to the previously advertised extension to the Ruislip Parking Management Scheme in part of Sharps Lane, Ruislip:

i) Reduction of the previously proposed parking place outside No. 72b Sharps Lane to 4.5 metres and introduce double yellow lines near the public footpath.

ii) Reduction of the previously proposed parking place outside Nos. 14 & 16 Sharps Lane to 4.5 metres, replace with 'Monday to Friday 9.00am to 5.00pm' waiting restrictions.

iii) Proposed extension of the double yellow lines on the southeast side of Sharps Lane to outside Nos. 9 to 15 Sharps Lane.

iv) Defer the previously proposed double yellow lines on Sharps Lane adjacent to No. 1 Bury Street and retain the existing 'Monday to Saturday 8.00am to 6.30pm' waiting restriction.

v) Reduction of the previously proposed parking place outside Nos. 28 and 30 Sharps Lane. Replace with 'Monday to Friday 9.00am to 5.00pm' waiting restrictions.

vi) Removal of the previously proposed parking place outside Nos. 52 and 54 Sharps Lane. Replace with 'Monday to Friday 9.00am to 5.00pm' waiting restrictions.

3. Establish permit parking places (operational between 'Monday to Friday 9.00am and 5.00pm') in which a vehicle may be left during the permitted hours if it displays a valid WD1 permit in Ruffle Close, West Drayton.

4. Impose waiting restrictions in Ruffle Close, West Drayton operational between 'Monday to Friday 9.00am and 5.00pm' with sections of ‘at any time’ waiting restrictions to prevent obstructive parking.

5. Impose 'Monday to Friday 7.00am to 10.00am & 4.00pm to 6.30pm' waiting restrictions on part of Royal Lane, Uxbridge along the west side of the road in-between the existing double yellow lines outside No. 369 Royal Lane.

6. Impose a 40mph speed limit on the section of Moorhall Road, Harefield between the borough boundary with South Bucks District Council to a point in line with Blackford Pumping Station.

7. Impose a 40mph speed limit on the section of Shepiston Lane, Hayes from a point 128.25 metres southeast of its junction with Stockley Road to a point 345 metres west of the fire station.

8. Install blue badge disabled parking bays at the following locations:

i) Outside No. 62 Berkeley Close, Ruislip ii) Outside No. 32 Churchill Avenue, Hillingdon
iii) Outside No. 18 Columbia Avenue, Ruislip iv) Outside No. 44 Pine Gardens, Ruislip
v) Outside Nos. 14 & 16 Dawlish Drive, Ruislip vi) Outside Nos. 14 & 16 Wentworth Drive, Pinner
vii) Outside No. 33 Manningtree Road, Ruislip viii) Outside No. 87 Raeburn Road, Hayes
ix) Outside Nos. 7 & 8 Rosedale Avenue, Hayes x) Outside No. 14 Cowdray Road, Hillingdon
xi) Outside No. 45 Botwell Lane, Hayes xii) Outside No. 53 Ashwood Avenue, Uxbridge
xiii) Western end of lay-by on Freemans Lane outside Nos. 7-18 Park Side, Barra Hall Circus, Hayes
xiv) Proposed an additional space in the parking area outside No. 1 Berberis Walk, West Drayton
xv) Formalise an existing advisory disabled parking bay outside No. 90 Bedford Road, Ruislip

9. Proposed removal of an existing disabled parking bay outside No. 8 Mount Pleasant, Harefield

10. Convert the following disabled parking bays to residents' permit holder spaces:

i) Outside No. 41A Murray Road, Northwood to Zone N permit holder parking.

ii) Outside No. 77 Great Central Avenue, Ruislip to Zone SR permit holder parking.

RESIDENTS PERMITS - £0 - 1st vehicle, all subsequent - £40 per annum

VISITORS VOUCHERS First book of 10 per household per annum- free. £5 - per book of 10 thereafter.

Copies of the proposed Orders together with full details, plans and the Council’s statement of reasons for the proposals can be seen at Botwell Green, Charville, Eastcote, Harefield, Harlington, Hayes End, Northwood, Northwood Hills, Oak Farm, Ruislip, Ruislip Manor, South Ruislip, Uxbridge, West Drayton and Yiewsley libraries and by appointment at, Civic Centre, Uxbridge during normal office hours until 15th March 2017. CLEAVE AVENUE, HAYES - At the junction with Bedwell Gardens.

BISHOP'S ROAD, HAYES - At the junction with Kingsway.

KINGSWAY, HAYES - At the junction with Bishop's Road.

BRIGHTON CLOSE, HILLINGDON - The entire extent of the road.

CHALFONT ROAD, HAYES - Extend the existing double yellow lines outside No. 1 Chalfont Road by 4 metres.

LEYBOURNE ROAD, HILLINGDON - At both junctions with Midhurst Gardens.

MIDHURST GARDENS, HILLINGDON - At both junctions with Leybourne Road.

NELSON LANE, HILLINGDON - From the junction with Nelson Road for a distance of 24.5 metres southwestwards.

ORCHARD CLOSE, RUISLIP - Opposite Nos. 10 to 18 Orchard Close.
