1. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the London Borough of Hackney, in accordance with the Section 90C of the Highway Act 1980 as amended and the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 Section 23 proposes to introduce raised entry treatments and a Zebra Crossing, as detailed in the schedule 1 and schedule 2 of this notice.

2. Plans of the proposed measures can be inspected during normal office hours on Mondays to Fridays inclusive until a period of 21 days from the date, on which this notice is published, in the reception area, London Borough of Hackney, Hackney Service Centre, 1 Hillman Street E8 1DY. 3. Any objections or other representations should be sent in writing to the Head of Streetscene using the above TT reference number, at the address specified in paragraph 2 above until the expiration of a period of 21 days from the date on which this Notice is published. All objections must specify the grounds on which they are made.

SCHEDULE 1

RAISED TABLE: SCHEDULE

Note: The carriageway will be raised to install raised junction table. The maximum height of the table will be 100mm.

a) Mount Pleasant Hill

b) West of the junction with Theydon Road for a distance of 6.4m westwards.

c) East of the junction with Theydon Road for a distance of 7.2m eastwards.

SCHEDULE 2

Theydon Road

Install a new Zebra crossing across Theydon Road. The Zebra crossing will be 4.8m wide and located 5m north of junction with Mount Pleasant Hill. The zebra crossing including zig zag markings will have an overall length of 40m.
