THE EALING (PARKING PLACES) (STOP AND SHOP WITH ADDITIONAL CASHLESS PARKING) (AMENDMENT NO. 21) ORDER 2016
1. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the London Borough of Ealing on the 27th October 2016 made the above mentioned Orders under sections 6, 45, 46, 49 and 124 of and Part IV of Schedule 9 to the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended.
2. The general effect of the Waiting Order will be to revise the waiting restrictions in Canberra Road to include the West Ealing Library car park area.
3. The general effect of the West Ealing Library Order will be to provide an angled parking place for 5 vehicles in Canberra Road (adjacent to West Ealing Library) which will be available for the use of vehicles (without charge or time limit) which display a permit issued to West Ealing Library for use in respect of that parking place.
4. The general effect of the Loading Place Order will be to provide a free loading place in Canberra Road in the vicinity of West Ealing Library.
5. The general effect of the Stop and Shop Order will be to provide 30 minute limit free parking places in Canberra Road (11 bays) in the vicinity of West Ealing Library
Vehicles will be permitted to remain in this parking place beyond the 30 minutes free parking period for an additional period of up to 2 hours on payment of a parking charge of £2 including the 20p transaction fee. The parking charge will be payable through the telephone payment system operated by RingGo and will be required to be paid for by the end of the free parking period. The operational hours of the parking place will be 8am to 6.30pm Mondays to Saturdays and no return to the bays will be permitted for 2 hours.
6. The Orders, which will come into operation on 31st October 2016, other documents including plans giving more detailed particulars of the Orders, are available by either e-mailing Highwayservices@ealing.gov.uk or for inspection at Customer Services Reception, Perceval House, 14-16 Uxbridge Road W5 2HL between 9:00am and 4:45pm on Monday to Friday, until the 8th December 2016.
7. If any person wishes to question the validity of any of the Orders or of any of their provisions on the grounds that it or they are not within the powers conferred by the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, or that any requirement of that Act or of any instrument made under that Act has not been complied with, that person may, within six weeks from the date on which the Order is made, apply for the purpose to the High Court.
