PROPOSED STOPPING UP OF AREA OF HIGHWAY AT HARRIS ROAD (FORMERLY KNOWN AS ARRAN WAY) CORBY, NORTHAMPTONSHIRE
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Northamptonshire County Council being the highway authority for Corby, intends to apply to Northampton Magistrates Court sitting at the Court House, Campbell Square, Northampton, NN1 3EB on Tuesday 23rd August 2016 at 10.00am for an Order under Section 116 of the Highways Act 1980 authorising the stopping up of part of the Public highway at Harris Road, Corby, NN17 2GA, Northamptonshire (formerly known as Arran Way) on the ground that it is unnecessary for public use. The area of highway to be stopped up is described in the Schedule below and the plan showing the area in question may be inspected at the offices of the Director of Law and Governance, c/o LGSS Law Ltd, John Dryden House, The Lakes, Northampton NN4 7YD between the hours of 9.00am and 4.00pm on Monday to Friday inclusive (Ref: SM/ENV0071504).
On hearing the application, any person to whom this Notice has been given, any person who uses the highway, or any other person who may be aggrieved by the making of this Order, has a right to be heard.
