The Secretary of State gives notice of an Order made under Section 247 of the above Act entitled “The Stopping up of Highway (East Midlands) (No.14) Order 2016” authorising the stopping up of an irregular shaped area of Pinfold Green including highway verge at Badby, in the District of Daventry to enable development as permitted by Daventry District Council, on 21 July 2014 under reference DA/2014/0442 and on 11 March 2016 under reference DA/2016/0015.

Copies of the Order may be obtained, free of charge, from the Secretary of State, National Transport Casework Team, Tyneside House, Skinnerburn Road, Newcastle Business Park, Newcastle upon Tyne NE4 7AR or nationalcasework@dft.gsi.gov.uk (quoting NATTRAN/EM/S247/2200) and may be inspected during normal opening hours at Daventry District Council, Lodge Road, Daventry, NN11 4FP.

Any person aggrieved by or desiring to question the validity of or any provision within the Order, on the grounds that it is not within the powers of the above Act or that any requirement or regulation made has not been complied with, may, within 6 weeks of 23 June 2016 apply to the High Court for the suspension or quashing of the Order or of any provision included.
