ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984

THE A41 GLA ROAD (WATFORD WAY) (LONDON BOROUGH OF BARNET) BANNED U TURN TRAFFIC ORDER 2016
1. Transport for London hereby gives notice that on 13th May 2016 it made the above named Orders, under section 6 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. The Orders will come into force on 30th May 2016.
2. The general nature and effect of the Orders will be to:
(1) On the north side Queen’s Road, the loading/unloading and disabled persons’ vehicle bay outside Nos. 3-7 Queen’s Parade, is relocated, from a point 18 metres north-east of a point opposite the extended north eastern building line of Nos. 2 to 12 Queen’s Parade, Queen’s Road to a point 18.1 metres in a westerly direction.
(2) Relocate the disabled person’s only bay outside Nos.3-7 Queen’s Road from the north side to south side to a point 25 metres south- east of the extended eastern building line of Nos.2 to 12 Queen’s Road.
(3) On A41 Watford Way north-east side, amend the loading/unloading only bay; from a point 2 metres north-east of the extended common boundary of Nos. 14 and 16 Watford Way to a point 2 metres south-east of the extended common boundary of Nos. 6 and 8 Watford Way
No Stopping Mon-Sat 7am - 7pm except 10am-4pm loading max 20 mins
Introduce a new taxi bay
(4) On the north-east side A41 Watford Way, introduce a taxi bay from a point 2 metres south of the extended common boundary of Nos. 6 and 8 Watford Way to the extended common boundary of Nos. 2 and 4 Watford Way.
No Stopping AT Any Time, except Taxi 7pm-7am
Changes to the double red lines
(5) On the north side Queen’s Road, amend the double red line from the extended western building line of Nos. 3 to 7 Queen’s Parade for a distance of 20 metres in an easterly direction.
(6) Amend the double red line on the south side, Queen’s Road from the extended eastern building line of Nos. 2 to 12 Queen’s Parade for 16 metres in an easterly direction.
(7) Introduce a new double red line on the south side, Queen’s Road from a point 25 metres from the extended eastern building line of Nos. 2 to 12 Queen’s Road for a distance of 5.7 metres in a south easterly direction
(8) Amend the double red line on the north east side, A 41 Watford Way from a point 2 metres of the extended common boundary of Nos. 6 and 8 Watford Way to a point 13 metres south-east of the extended common boundary of Nos, 2 and 4 Watford Way.
Banned U turn movement
(9) Prohibit southbound vehicles on A41 Watford Way from making a U turn into northbound A41 Watford Way at its junctions with Queen’s Road and Vivian Avenue
3. The roads which would be affected by the Order are A41 Watford Way and Queen’s Road.
4. A copy of the Order, a map indicating the location and effect of the Order and copies of any Order revoked, suspended or varied by the Order can be inspected during normal office hours at the offices of:

5. Any person wishing to question the validity of the Order or of any of its provisions on the grounds that they are not within the relevant powers conferred by the Act or that any requirement of the Act has not been complied with, that person may, within six weeks from the date on which the Order is made, make application for the purpose to the High Court.
