ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984

THE GREENWICH (20 MPH ZONE) (NO. 35) TRAFFIC ORDER 2016

1. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the Royal Borough of Greenwich on 25th April 2016 made the above-mentioned Order under section 84 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended. The Order will come into operation on 3rd May 2016.

2. The general effect of the Order will be to impose a 20 miles per hour speed limit on motor vehicles in the roads specified in the Schedule to this Notice.

3. Further information may be obtained by telephoning Strategic Transportation on 020 8921 3804.

4. The Order and other documents giving more detailed particulars of the Order are available for inspection during normal office hours until the end of six weeks from the date on which the Order was made, at the Directorate of Regeneration, Enterprise and Skills, Strategic Transportation, Greenwich Council, Crown Building, 48 Woolwich New Road, SE18 6HQ.

5. If any person wishes to question the validity of the Order or of any of the provisions contained therein on the grounds that they are not within the powers conferred by the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, or that any requirement of that Act or of any instrument made under that Act has not been complied with, that person may, within six weeks from the date on which the Order was made, apply for that purpose to the High Court.
