THE CITY OF WESTMINSTER (PARKING PLACES) (F ZONE) (AMENDMENT NO. 42) ORDER 2016

THE CITY OF WESTMINSTER (WAITING AND LOADING RESTRICTION) (AMENDMENT NO. 210) ORDER 2016

1. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Westminster City Council on 29th February 2016 made the above Orders under sections 6, 45, 46, 49 and 124 of and Part IV of Schedule 9 to the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended.

2. The general effect of the Orders will be, in connection with the redevelopment of Nos. 74 to 76 Chiltern Street, to:

(a) relocate the residents’ parking place on the east side of Chiltern Street, outside Nos. 74 to 76, southward by 5 metres and extend it by 5.5 metres;

(b) extend the residents’ parking place on the west side of Chiltern Street, outside Nos. 69 and 71, by 10 metres; and

(c) introduce double yellow line “at any time” waiting restrictions:

(i) on the east side of Chiltern Street, across the vehicular access to Nos. 74 to 76 (10 metres);

(ii) on both sides of Chiltern Street, at the junction with Paddington Street (5 metres); and

(iii) on the north side of Paddington Street, across the vehicular access to Nos. 74 to 76 (10.5 metres).

3. The Orders, which will come into force on 11th March 2016, and other documents giving more detailed particulars of the Orders are available for inspection until 11th April 2016 between 9 a.m. and 5 p.m. on Mondays to Fridays inclusive at WSP | Parsons Brinckerhoff, 10th Floor, Westminster City Hall, 64 Victoria Street, London, SW1E 6QP.

4. Any person desiring to question the validity of the Orders or of any provision contained therein on the grounds that it is not within the relevant powers of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 or that any of the relevant requirements thereof or of any relevant regulations made thereunder have not been complied with in relation to the Orders may, within six weeks from the date on which the Orders were made, make application for the purpose to the High Court.
