STOPPING UP OF LAND AT THE OLD STABLES, MOORDEN FARM, CHIDDINGSTONE CAUSEWAY, TONBRIDGE, TN11 8JD
I AM GIVING NOTICE THAT The Kent County Council as Highway Authority for the County of Kent propose to make an application to the Magistrates’ sitting at Medway Magistrates’ Court on 28 January 2016 at 10:00 for an Order under Section 116 of the Highways Act 1980 to extinguish highway rights on the grounds that they are unnecessary on land at The Old Stables, Moorden Farm, Chiddingstone Causeway, Tonbridge, TN11 8JD as Edged Red on the plan on deposit.
A copy of the draft order and the plan referred to are on deposit, and can be seen during normal office hours, at the main reception of The Kent County Council at Sessions House, County Hall, Maidstone, Kent ME14 1XQ.
Any person to whom this Notice has been given or who uses the highway specified or who would be aggrieved by the making of the Order may appear before the Magistrates’ Court to raise an objection or make a representation on the application. Any person intending to appear before the Magistrates’ Court at the hearing of the application is requested to inform David McKnight by post to Legal Services, The Kent County Council, Sessions House, County Hall, Maidstone, Kent ME14 1XQ or by email david.mcknight@kent.gov.uk before 18 January 2016 quoting reference number LS/21/109718/608.
