As per Section 8(1) of the Environmental Assessment (Scotland) Act 2005, the Scottish Government has determined that the above strategy is likely to generate significant environmental effects and that a Strategic Environmental Assessment is required.

The Scottish Government is now consulting on the strategy and can be viewed at https://consult.scotland.gov.uk/ along with the Environmental Report and the earlier screening determination.
