THE STOPPING UP OF HIGHWAYS (LONDON BOROUGH OF SUTTON) (LAND AT NORTHERN END OF GREEN WRYTHE CRESCENT CARSHALTON ) ORDER 2015

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the London Borough of Sutton of Civic Offices, St. Nicholas Way, Sutton SM1 1EA (the “Council”) has drafted an order pursuant to section 247 of the Town and Country Planning Act 1990 (the “Act”) in respect of land in Green Wrythe Crescent Carshalton, all such land being in the London Borough of Sutton.

The effect of the Order would be that the said land would cease to be public highway

The Council is satisfied that it is necessary to stop up the parts of the Northern end of Green Wrythe Crescent which are the subject of this Order to allow the implementation of an outline planning permission granted by the Council on 30th January 2013 under reference C2012/66460/3FR for the demolition of twenty-four houses and erection of nine 2-bedroomed, twenty-seven 3-bedroomed and three 4-bedroomed detached, semi detached and terraced affordable houses in a mix of single storey with roof accommodation, two storey and two storey with roof accommodation buildings together with provision of 46 car parking spaces, cycle, refuse, and recycling facilities and vehicle accesses and an outline planning permission granted by the Council on the 30th January 2013 under reference C2012/66459/3FR for the demolition of fourteen houses and erection of six 2-bedroomed, thirteen 3-bedroomed and three 4-bedroomed detached, semi detached and terraced affordable houses in a mix of two storey and two storey with roof accommodation buildings together with provision of 29 car parking spaces, cycle, refuse and recycling facilities and vehicle accesses.

The Council will formally consider any objections to the making of the Order which are submitted to it by 6TH January 2016.

Any objections must be in writing and sent to the South London Legal Partnership, Gifford House, 67c St. Helier Avenue, Morden SM4 6HY (quoting reference Ref. AL/Green Wrythe). A copy of the Order and a map defining the land to which it relates can be inspected at the Council’s Civic Offices at all reasonable hours until 6th January 2016.
