THE BEXLEY (WEST SIDCUP) (PARKING PLACES) (AMENDMENT NO.1) TRAFFIC ORDER 2015

THE BEXLEY (WAITING AND LOADING RESTRICTION) (AMENDMENT NO.4) TRAFFIC ORDER 2015

1. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the London Borough of Bexley has on the 9th November 2015 made the above mentioned Orders under sections 6, and 124 of and Part IV of Schedule 9 to the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended by Section 8 of and Part 1 of Schedule 5 to the Local Government Act 1985, and Part 6 and Schedules 7 to 12 of the Traffic management Act 2004, and all other enabling powers

2. The general effect of the Bexley (West Sidcup) (Parking Places) (Amendment No.1) Traffic Order 2015 would be to extend the existing Controlled Parking Zone westward along Carlton Road (Sidcup) into the junction with Cloudeseley Close, and to revoke free parking places on Carlton Road north of the spur to Cloudeseley Close. The changes reflect changes to the road and accesses due to the development of the Carlton Day Centre

3. The general effect of the Bexley (Waiting and Loading Restriction) (Amendment No.4) Traffic Order 2015 would be to add double yellow lines, and single yellow lines (no waiting Monday to Friday, 1pm to 3pm) to the east / west Carlton Road spur leading to Cloudeseley Close. In addition a short length of double yellow line restriction is proposed on Cloudeseley Close at its junction with Carlton Road.

4. The above Orders will become effective on the 16th November 2015.

5. Copies of the Orders listed at the head of this notice and any Orders they amend, the Council’s statement of reasons for proposing to make the Orders and plans indicating the length of roads to which the Orders relate can be inspected during normal office hours on Mondays to Fridays at the Contact Centre, Civic Offices, 2 Watling Street, Bexleyheath, Kent DA6 7AT

7. Persons desiring to question the validity of the Order or any provision contained therein on the grounds that it is not made within the relevant powers of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 or that any of the relevant requirements thereof or of any relevant regulations made under has not been complied with in relation to the Order, may make application for the purpose to the High Court before the expiration of 6 weeks from the date on which the Order is made.
