THE LONDON BOROUGH OF RICHMOND UPON THAMES (LOADING PLACES) (AMENDMENT NO. 43) ORDER 2015

HIGH STREET AND LANGHAM ROAD, TEDDINGTON

1. The Council of the London Borough of Richmond upon Thames on 1 October 2015 made the above Orders under sections 6 and 124 of, and Part IV of Schedule 9 to, the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended.

2. The general effect of the Waiting and Loading Restriction Amendment Order is to introduce waiting and loading restrictions as set out in the schedule to this notice.

3. The general effect of the Loading Places Order is to introduce loading bays as set out in the schedule to this notice.

4. Copies of the Orders which come into force on 5 October 2015, a plan showing the location and effect of the Orders and the Council’s Statement of Reasons for making the Orders:—

(a) can be inspected, quoting Reference 15/064, at the Civic Centre (Central Reception, ground floor), 44 York Street, Twickenham between 9.15am and 5pm on Mondays to Fridays, except for Bank and other public holidays; and

(b) may be viewed on the Council’s web-site at http://www.richmond.gov.uk/public_notices

5. If any person wishes to question the validity of these Orders or of any of their provisions on the grounds that they are not within the powers conferred by the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, or that any requirement of the said Act of 1984 or of any instrument made under the said Act has not been complied with, that person may, within 6 weeks from the date on which the Orders were made, apply for the purpose to the High Court.

High Street, Teddington, south-eastern side – Loading Bays To introduce two loading bays from a point 9 metres south-west of the south-western kerb-line of Langham Road, extending south-westwards for a distance of 16 metres operating Mondays to Saturdays between 7am and 10am, with a maximum stay of 1 hour and no return within 1 hour.
High Street, Teddington, junction with Langham Road, Teddington – Waiting and Loading Restrictions To introduce “at any time” waiting and loading restrictions at the High Street Teddington/Langham Road junction.
