1. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the London Borough of Wandsworth proposes to make an Order to permit the temporary closure of a section of footway in Theatre Street outside Battersea Arts Centre.

2. The closure will apply from 7th September 2015 until approximately 7th September 2017 as the council is satisfied that it is required to facilitate installation of a temporary roof at Battersea Arts Centre.

3. Whilst the said works are taking place, no person shall proceed along the eastern footway in Theatre Street, from its junction with northern arm of Town Hall Road for a distance of approximately 47 metres in a southerly direction.

4. Whilst the Order remains in force the alternative route for pedestrians affected by the closure will be appropriately signed

6. The Order will come into operation and the footway closure commence on 7th September 2015 until the works are complete.
