1. The London Borough of Hounslow has made the above mentioned Orders on 16 March 2015 under sections 6, 45, 46, 49, 51 and 124 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. The Orders will come into operation on 7 April 2015.

2. The general effect of the Parking Places Orders will be to introduce a controlled parking zone (CPZ) in Brook Road South area which would operate between Mondays to Fridays 10am-11am and 7pm to 8pm in which vehicles displaying a valid permit may park. Pay and display parking places will be charged £1.00 for 30 minutes), pro rata. Additionally an “event day” controlled parking zone would operate on Saturdays between the hours of 2.30pm and 3.30pm on an event day in the same roads as the Brook Road South CPZ. Details of which streets will fall under these proposed CPZs can be found in Schedule 1 and 2 to this Notice. . Detailed information on the bays can be found on the Councils website.

3. The general effect of the Waiting and Loading amendment Order will be to further amend the London Borough of Hounslow (Waiting and Loading Restriction) Order 2008 by adding new waiting restrictions in the lengths of road as detailed in Schedules 3, 4, 5 and 6 to this Notice. Detailed information on the waiting restrictions can be found on the Councils website.

4. The general effect of the Disabled Persons Parking Places Order will be to further amend the Hounslow (Free Parking Places) (Disabled Persons) (No.1) Order 2008 to designate disabled parking places in the streets detailed in Schedule 7 to this Notice

5. Documents giving detailed information of the Orders can be viewed for a period of 6 weeks from the date of this Notice:

a. online www.hounslow.gov.uk by typing in the term “traffic notices” in the search bar; or

b. at the Forms and Documents Counter, Civic Centre, Lampton Road, Hounslow, TW3 4DN between 9am and 4.15pm Mondays to Friday.

6. Any person desiring to question the validity of the Orders or any provision contained therein on the grounds that they are not within the relevant powers of the Road Traffic Regulation Act, or that any of the relevant regulations made thereunder have not been complied with in relation to the Orders may, within six weeks of the date on which the Orders were made, make an application for the purpose to the High Court.
