THE HACKNEY (PARKING PLACES) (CONSOLIDATION) (AMENDMENT NO.19) ORDER 2015

1. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the London Borough of Hackney on 6th March 2015 did make the above-mentioned Orders under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended.

2. The general effect of the Orders will be;

Nuttall Street Junction

a) Western kerb line - Relocation of Loading bay

b) South western kerb line- Removal of a parking bay and market pitches Nos1 & 2.

c) South eastern kerb line - Removal of a parking bay and market pitches Nos 149 & 150.

d) South eastern kerb line - New double yellow lines.

e) Western kerb line – New double yellow lines.

Ivy Street Junction

a) Western kerb line - Removal of a parking bay and market pitches Nos 11 & 12.

b) Eastern  kerb line - Removal of 4 parking bays and market pitches Nos 140 & 141

c) New double yellow lines

Stanway Street

a) Replace 8m parking bay with carriageway cycle parking.

Purcell Street Junction

a) South eastern kerb line – Replace 5m parking bay and market pitch no 119 with carriageway cycle parking.

b) Section 90 for speed hump.

NB. Market pitch 120 will be on proposed ramp.

Shenfield Street Junction

c) Western kerb line - Replace 5m parking bay and market pitches Nos 70 & 71 with carriageway cycle parking.

d) Eastern kerb line - Removal of 2 parking bays and extend double yellow lines.

NB. Market pitches 69, 73 and 84 will be on proposed ramps.

3. Copies of the Orders, which will come into force on 16th March 2015, other relevant Orders, and other documents giving more detailed particulars of the Orders, can be inspected during normal office hours on Mondays to Fridays inclusive, until the expiration of a period of six weeks from the date on which the Orders are made, in the reception area, London Borough of Hackney Keltan House 89 -115 Mare Street London, E8 4RU. 4. If any person wishes to question the validity of either of the Orders, or of any provision contained therein on the grounds that it not within the powers conferred by the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 or that any requirement of the Act or of any instrument under the Act has not been complied with, that person may, within six weeks of the date on which the Orders are made, apply for the purpose to the High Court.
